About Jin

I’m Jin. I was born in Hainan, China, but San Francisco has been my home for the last 20 years. My path to becoming a full-time photographer wasn’t a straight line—it was a journey. I started with classes in college, keeping photography as a cherished hobby while I spent a decade working in the automotive industry.

Along the way, I got lucky. I met and worked with some amazing photographers who let me learn the ropes, and I fell in love with photography. What started as a side gig slowly became my life’s focus. Today, I’m grateful to do what I love full-time: documenting real moments, big emotions, and the stories that make life beautiful.
